STONY BROOK, NY, May 11, 2015 – Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine held its annual Senior Celebration on May 11, 2015 at the Old Field Club in Stony Brook.
Thirty-nine graduating dental students in the Class of 2015 were recognized and celebrated at the event.
Dr. David Paquette, Associate Dean for Education, served as master of ceremonies. Dean Mary Truhlar and Dr. Dimitrios Kilimitzoglou, President of the School of Dental Medicine Alumni Board, welcomed the graduating students as new members of the School’s alumni chapter.
In the graduate’s response, Ms. Laura Izzo, Class President, highlighted the special comradery within the class and the guidance and knowledge provided by the School’s faculty over the past four years.
Members of the Class of 2015 will be awarded their Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees on May 22, 2015 at the School’s Convocation Ceremony at the Sidney Gelber Auditorium of the Student Activities Center.
